台風続きで予定が大幅に変更されています。
とはいえ自然には逆らえないので、できる対策をやって、あとは通り過ぎるのを待つだけです。
たまには台風が来た方が海をかき回すのでフグ養殖には良いと言われる人もいます。
いずれにしろ用心に越したことはないので、皆さまもお気を付けください。
Dear All Members.
I am Furukawa, the representative.
Due to the succession of typhoons, our plans have been changed significantly.
However, we cannot go against nature, so we will take precautions and wait for it to pass.
Some people say occasional typhoons are suitable for pufferfish farming, as they stir up the ocean.
In any case, it's better to be safe than sorry, so please take care and exercise caution during this time.
＜活動＞ <Activities>
１． インターナショナルシーフードショー2024開催
今回は多くの出展社と来場者でコロナ禍以前に戻ってきました。
フグのブースは国際ふぐ協会、株式会社吉田水産、株式会社ショウリュウ、株式会社Ｆｕの４社団体で全国フグ加工品の取り扱い規制の撤廃をアピールしました。
1. International Seafood Show 2024
This year's event returned to the pre-COVID era with many exhibitors and visitors.
At the Fugu booth, four companies - the International Fugu Association, Yoshida Suisan Co., Ltd., Shoryu Co., Ltd., and Fu Co., Ltd. - stood united in their appeal for lifting nationwide restrictions on handling processed Fugu products. Their collective voice echoed the shared concerns of the industry.
国際ふぐ協会のブースではみなと新聞さんのご協力をいただき、フグ輸出の状況を表すポスターを掲示しました。
At the International Fugu Association's booth, with the cooperation of Minato Shimbun, a poster was displayed showing the status of fugu exports.
全体の来場者数は３日間で約２５，０００名（昨年２３，０００名）と伸びました。
今回は日本のバイヤーも多かったのですが、海外からのバイヤーが多く訪問されました。
Over the three days, the total number of visitors was about 25,000 (up from 23,000 last year).
There were many Japanese buyers this time, but many buyers from overseas also visited.
国際色が豊かになりました。中国、韓国、ペルー、ポルトガル、メキシコ、ブラジル、アメリカ、ベトナム、ドイツなど本気でフグを取扱いたいと要望されました。中にはフグの試食に手が出ない人もいましたが、今後とも連絡を取り合っていきたいと思います。
Our international flavor has increased. We have had requests from China, Korea, Peru, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Vietnam, Germany, and other countries who are serious about selling fugu. Some people were not willing to try the fugu, but we hope to keep in touch with them in the future.
２． JETRO海外プロモーション事業
農林水産省の令和６年度当初予算「戦略的輸出拡大サポート事業（分野・テーマ別海外販開拓対策事業）」に関し、国際ふぐ協会の海外プロモーション事業計画が承認されました。
台湾に向けての日本産フグプロモーションの計画になります。
まだ正式な解禁にはなっておりませんが、農水省、水産庁、厚労省、大日本水産会、ＪＥＴＲＯ，日台交流協会などと連携して台湾政府との交渉を行っております。
詳細はまだ明らかにできませんが、年内には解禁の吉報を皆さんへお届けできるように頑張っておりますので、ご期待ください。
2. JETRO Overseas Promotion Project
The International Fugu Association's overseas promotion project plan has been approved for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' initial budget for FY2024, the "Strategic Export Expansion Support Project (Field/Theme-Specific Overseas Sales Development Measures Project)."
This is a plan to promote Japanese fugu in Taiwan.
Our negotiations with the Taiwanese government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Fisheries Agency, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the Japan Fisheries Association, JETRO, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, and others, are progressing well despite the ban not being officially lifted yet.
We cannot reveal the details yet, but we are working hard to bring you good news by the end of the year, so please stay tuned.
