こんにちは、代表の古川です。
GWに入りまして、最大１０連休となる会社もあるようです。
せっかくの海外旅行のチャンスですが、円安がいけません。
それに比べて訪日客の勢いは留まらず、ホテル代の高騰に拍車がかかっています。
コロナ明けでそれぞれの業界が潤いつつ、巡ってフグ業界にも良い影響となることを祈っています。
Dear Members,
Hello, this is Furukawa, the representative.
Some companies have up to 10 consecutive holidays as we enter Golden Week.
A great time to travel overseas, but the weak yen discourages it.
In comparison, the number of visitors to Japan is increasing, and hotel prices are increasing rapidly.
Each industry will be enriched in the post-COVID pandemic, positively impacting the Fugu industry.
＜活動＞
1．国内のフグ加工品の販売規制緩和とフグ処理師免許について、
・先月お知らせしたフグ加工品の届け出制度を撤廃する件にて、水産経済新聞社でも取り上げていただきました。
2．さらにフグ処理師の免許についても深堀りしていただき、全国統一の動きとなっています。フグ加工品を安心して販売しやすくなるため、外食、中食、小売、通販などあらゆる業種でのフグ取扱いの拡大が期待されます。
<Activities>
1．Regarding the relaxation of domestic regulations on selling processed Fugu products and licensing Fugu processors.
・The Suisan Keizai Shimbun newspaper also featured last month's announcement about abolishing the notification system for processed Fugu products.
Furthermore, we are advocating for a comprehensive review of licenses for Fugu processors, a step towards nationwide standardization. This move is expected to make it easier to sell processed Fugu products and stimulate growth in all sectors. We anticipate a significant expansion in the Fugu industry, including restaurants, ready-made meals, retail, and mail order.

3．アメリカ向けフグ輸出
・お問い合わせも多いアメリカ行きのフグ輸出についてご報告いたします。
現在アメリカ向けには下関ふく輸出組合がNYのワコウインターナショナル社へフグの輸出が行われています。
・1989年NYのレストラン日本を運営されていた故倉岡氏がアメリカ食品医薬品局（FDA）と５年の交渉の末、フグの輸入を実現したことは素晴らしいことですが、その際にFDAと厚労省は年３回のみ、業者と商社を限定しました。
残念ながら今でもその独占の状態が継続されており、フグの輸出量も増えていません。
・対照的に2022年シンガポール政府は養殖トラフグの身に加えて皮、ヒレ、白子の輸入を認めた。その輸出量は年々増加しており、アメリカ向けの量をすぐに超えたようです。
・これからもお判りの通り、自由競争で且つ、マーケットインの考えで商品やサービスは切磋琢磨され、進化していくものです。
・今期当会のターゲットは台湾ですが、ドアはオープンに開けていきたいと考えています。皆様のご協力をお願い致します。
・We would like to report on the export of Fugu to the United States, which has received many inquiries.
Currently, the Shimonoseki Fugu Export Association is exporting Fugu to Wako International Co., Ltd. in New York, in the United States.
・It is awesome that the late Mr. Kuraoka, who ran Restaurant Japan in New York, was able to import Fugu after five years of negotiations with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1989. The USFDA and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (then the Ministry of Health and Welfare) limited the Fugu imports to only three times a year with the designated vendors and trading company.
Unfortunately, this state of monopoly continues even today, and the amount of Fugu exports has remained the same.
・In contrast, in 2022, the Singapore government allowed the import of farmed tiger puffer fish skin, fins, and milt in addition to the flesh. Its export volume has been increasing yearly and appears to have quickly exceeded the volume exported to the United States.
・As you can see, products and services will continue to evolve and improve through free competition and a market-oriented approach.
・This year's target is Taiwan, but we want to keep the door open. We appreciate your cooperation.
4．国際ふぐ協会の法人化。
・近年、国際ふぐ協会では国や自治体からの事業も請け負って活動しておりますが、早ければ来月中にも非営利型での一般社団法人化を目指します。
・非営利型での法人化にて、当会の信用と安心がさらに向上し、フグ業界のご期待にお応えできるものと考えています。
・また国際ふぐ協会は今まで会員の皆様からは費用をいただかず、運営側の自己負担や補助金等を利用して活動を行ってきました。
ご心配をおかけしますが、当面継続してやっておくつもりでおります。
4．Incorporation of the International Fugu Association.
・In recent years, the International Fugu Association has undertaken projects from the national and local governments. Still, we aim to become a non-profit general incorporated association as early as next month.
・By becoming a non-profit corporation, we believe that the trust and security of our association will further increase, and we will be able to meet the expectations of the Fugu industry.
・Until now, the International Fugu Association has not received any fees from its members and has conducted its activities using the management's own expenses and subsidies.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We plan to continue doing so for the time being.
5．養殖業関係者の皆さんへ

令和６年度のマーケットイン型養殖業等実証事業の助成金公募が４月22日よりスタートいたしました。
今までの海面養殖（魚類、甲殻類等）、貝類、藻類、陸上養殖（海水利用）に加え、
その他（ホヤ等）に加え、内水面養殖（淡水）のうち、サケ。マス類及びアユが追加となっております。
もちろんフグも対象で、今まで海面養殖や陸上養殖で複数社が採用されてきました。
養殖業の事業性評価に対する補助金（上限80万円）と評価を受けた先が申請できる機材・資材に対する補助金（上限5000万円ただし総投資の1/2まで）の申請期間は８月19日から９月20日（午後５時）までとなっております。

Public recruitment for subsidies for market-orientated aquaculture demonstration projects for 2026 started on April 22nd.
In addition to conventional marine aquaculture (fish, crustaceans, etc.), shellfish, algae, land-bas aquaculture (using seawater), and others (sea squirts, etc.), inland aquaculture (freshwater), including salmon, trout, and sweetfish, has been added.
Of course, this also applies to Fugu, and multiple companies have adopted it for marine and land-based aquaculture.
The application period for subsidies for business evaluation of aquaculture (up to 800,000 yen) and subsidies for equipment and materials that can be applied for by companies that have undergone evaluation (up to 50 million yen, but up to 1/2 of the total investment) is from August 19th to September 20th (5pm).
