3月に入り寒い日が続き、まだ桜が満開とはいきません。会員の皆さん
冬のトラフグ漁から春のマフグ漁への切り替わりが徐々に始まったようですが、 豊漁を願っています。
Dear Members,
Hello, this is Furukawa, the representative.
The cold days continue in March, and the cherry blossoms are yet to fully bloom.
The transition from winter Torafugu, tiger puffer, fishing to spring Mafugu, purple puffer, fishing has begun gradually, and we hope for a bumper catch.
＜活動＞
1. フグ加工品の販売規制緩和について
・全国海水魚養魚協会さんと連名などにて各県知事さんへ交渉してまいりましたが、最後の神奈川県庁と千葉県庁から、ミガキフグなど除毒済みフグ加工品の届け出制度を廃止するとのご連絡をいただきました。
実質３年以上かかりました。実施は千葉４月～、神奈川は6月～となるようですが、
まずは全国の自治体で不要なフグ販売の規制が撤廃できたことに喜びを感じております。これによりフグの消費が広がっていくことを期待します。業界紙にも記事が載りました。
<Activities>
1. Regarding the relaxation of regulations on the sale of processed Fugu products,
・We have been negotiating with the governors of each prefecture in partnership with the Japan Mariculture Association. Finally, I received memos from the Kanagawa and Chiba prefectural offices that they would abolish the notification system for detoxified processed Fugu, such as Migaki.
It actually took more than three years. The implementation will begin in April in Chiba and in June in Kanagawa. Still, we are pleased to have eliminated unnecessary regulations on selling Fugu in autonomous bodies nationwide. This will lead to a broader consumption of Fugu. Articles were also published in industry newspapers.

2．韓国のフグ
先日、韓国政府に各種フグの可食部位の確認のため、当会韓国代表に李さんと連名で質問状を送りました。
早速回答が返ってきましたが、はっきりしないため、深堀していきたいと思っています。
2. Korean puffer fish
The other day, Mr. Lee, the Korean representative of our association, and I jointly sent a letter of inquiry to the Korean government to confirm the edible parts of various types of puffer fish.
I received an answer immediately. However, it needs further clarification, so I'd like to conduct in-depth research.
↑李さんに作ってもらったトラフグプルコギは辛くてとても美味しかったです。
The Torafugu bulgogi that Mr. Lee prepared was spicy and very delicious.
3．技術顧問の長島裕二教授
・当会の技術顧問の長島先生が新潟食料農業大学をご卒業されます。大変お疲れ様でした。今後は東京海洋大学名誉教授の肩書となられますが、引き続き国際ふぐ協会の顧問を続けていただけます。大変心強く感謝いたします。
3. Technical advisor Professor Yuji Nagashima
・Dr. Nagashima, our technical advisor, will leave the Niigata University of Food and Agriculture. We are grateful for his hard work. He will now have the title of professor emeritus at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology but will continue to serve as an advisor to the International Fugu Association. I want to express my deepest gratitude.
