会員の皆さん こんにちは、代表の古川です。 残暑が厳しい日々が続いております。 まだまだ台風シーズンですのでお気を付けください。 今月は残念ながら赤潮で養殖フグが大きなダメージを受けてしまいました。 また福島原発の処理水を巡っては中国が日本産水産物の輸入をSTOPしたりと、いいニュースがございません。 不安な中ですが、コロナ明けの景気とインバウンドでよい状況が戻ってくることを願うばかりです。
Dear Members, Hello, this is Furukawa, the IFA representative. There are still days of severe summer heat. Please be careful, as it is still typhoon season. Unfortunately, this month's red tide caused significant damage to farmed puffer fish. There is also no good news regarding the treated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, with China stopping imports of Japanese marine products. Although we are anxious, we can only hope that the economy and inbound tourism will return to good conditions in the post-coronavirus pandemic.
＜活動＞
１．インターナショナルシーフードショー2023大盛況 ・アフターコロナにて出展ブースが完売した今回のシーフードショーには、来場のバイヤーも初日8,832人、２日目8,825人、３日目5,737人の計23,394人と大きく昨年の来場者数を超えました。 同時開催のアグリフードも２年ぶりの開催だったので、盛り上がりました。
1. International Seafood Show 2023 Great Success ・At this seafood show, where the exhibition booths were sold out amid the post-corona virus, the number of buyers who attended was 8,832 on the first day, 8,825 on the second day, and 5,737 on the third day, for a total of 23,394 people, greatly exceeding last year's number of visitors. It was the first time in two years that the Agrifood event was held simultaneously, so it was a blast.
フグブースは株式会社吉田水産、株式会社ショウリュウ、株式会社Ｆｕ、国際ふぐ協会が出店しました。 Fugu booths were set up by Yoshida Suisan Co., Ltd., Shoryu Co., Ltd., Fu Co., Ltd., and the International Fugu Association.
福島原発の処理水放水の件でメディアがたくさん取材に来ており、困ったことはありませんか？と各ブースに聞いて回っていました。フグは元々中国に輸出できない食材なのですが、中国からはたくさんフグを輸入してきます！ と説明しても良い反応はありませんでした。 そんな中、今回は外国人バイヤーや輸出の商社が多く回ってきました。 フグはまだ自由に輸出できる国が少ないので、解禁活動を頑張らないといけません。 そんな気持ちがより強くなりました。
Many media came to cover the treated water released from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, asking. They asked each booth, "Have you ever had any trouble?" Fugu is seafood that cannot be exported to China, but many are imported from China! I explained to them, but they exhibited no interest. Meanwhile, many foreign buyers and export trading companies visited our booth this time. There are few countries where Fugu can be exported freely, so we must work hard to lift their import ban. That feeling became more vigorous.
２．シンガポール日本産フグプロモーション2023採択
当会が申請していた戦略的輸出拡大サポート事業（分野・テーマ別海外販路開拓事業）実施計画がＪＥＴＲＯより承認されました。 詳細は後日報告しますが、シンガポールのシェフ達を現地のキッチンスタジオに招待して、フグ刺しなどの調理教室を実施します。 これにより現地でふぐ刺しなどを提供できる料理店を増やして、日本産フグ食文化を拡大させて、ミガキフグ購入のきっかけにしたいと考えております。 是非期待してください。
2. Japanese Fugu Promotion 2023 in Singapore Selected.
JETRO approved the strategic export expansion support project (overseas market development project by field/theme) we had applied for. Details will be reported later, but Singaporean chefs will be invited to a local kitchen studio to hold cooking classes, such as preparing Fugu sashimi. Through this event, we would like to increase the number of restaurants that can offer Fugu sashimi in Singapore, expand the Japanese Fugu food culture, and use it as an opportunity for the participants to purchase Migaki Fugu. Please look forward to it.

３．下関市より商談会プロモーション採択。
さらに下関市より２０２３年度輸出展示見本市等開催支援（下関産品PR）業務を当会事務局が受託いたしました。 シンガポールとマレーシアにて、フグ、魚の寿司ネタ、日本酒などをアピールするため、バイヤー、シェフ、ローカルのお客様に対して、プロモーションを実施いたします。
3. Export promotion business meeting event approved by Shimonoseki City.
Furthermore, our secretariat has been entrusted by Shimonoseki City with support for holding the 2023 Export Exhibition Trade Fair (Export promotion of Shimonoseki products). We will be running a promotion in Singapore and Malaysia to promote our Fugu, sushi-topping fish, sake, and more to buyers, chefs, and customers.
４．台湾向けのアプローチ。
8/31～9/2台湾国際漁業祭についての参加レポートは次回お知らせします。

Our participation report for the Taiwan International Fisheries & Seafood Show from 8/31 to 9/2 will be announced next time.
