We were able to hold a long-awaited study session for the SFA officials with the help of Professor Nagashima, an authority on pufferfish poisoning research from Japan, to lift the ban on pufferfish milt, skins, and fins.
Participants were appreciative of the opportunity for a better understanding of Japanese pufferfish. We hope they will proceed to the relaxation of the import restrictions.
