Sponsored by the Japan Aquatic Products Export Council, the International Fugu Association organized a Japanese pufferfish tour. We invited restaurant chefs and buyers from Singapore to Japan. We visited the pufferfish farm of Tachibana Fisheries Cooperative in Nagasaki, Karato Fish Market in Shimonoseki, and Pufferfish Processing Plant. The invitees experienced authentic pufferfish cuisine. It was a tight schedule, but it was very well received by the participants.
